Also, please read the Gospel Message of salvation through repentance and faith in the blood sacrifice of Jesus Christ here.

You feel yourself to be saved, but on what do you base your belief? Is it based upon what the Bible teaches about salvation, or is it based on what your church told you or what your heart tells you? The Bible says that our hearts are deceitful (Jeremiah 17:9). We should not trust in our hearts. The Bible also says that there are false christs, false gospels, and false spirits (I Corinthians 11:4). How can you be sure that you have heard the true Gospel, received the true Christ, and the true Holy Spirit? Please take a moment to be certain that your faith is the TRUE FAITH based on Scripture and not a FALSE FAITH based on feelings. Below is a short video series that examines some of the common false beliefs about salvation. Please watch it and consider what it teaches and compare your belief against that which the Bible teaches.
If you did not come to God through repentance and faith in Jesus sacrifice on the cross, then you are not saved. God does not save sinners through a prayer (salvation is by faith, not supplication). God does not save sinners or add them to His Church through baptism (either infant baptism or as an adult). God does not save sinners because they hold out faithful to Him (holding out faithful is a work and salvation is by faith, not works).
True believers should live a life of faith and good works, but it is not a means of salvation. God does not save sinners through works (good deeds–giving to the poor, going to church, praying, community service etc). God does not save sinners by entering their hearts (this means that salvation is not a result of asking Jesus into your heart). God does not save sinners by their submission or complete surrender to Him (this means that you cannot get saved by simply giving your life to God). God does not save sinners through near-death experiences or through supernatural experiences or visions. God has one plan of salvation because God has only made one provision for man’s sin and rebellion against Him. It is Jesus’ sacrificial death on the cross alone that provides eternal redemption for the sinful soul. Please, I urge you, do not trust in your feelings, your false church, or spiritual experiences. There are many articles on this site about salvation (what it is, based on the Bible alone, and what it is not). You can verify each and every thing you hear on this site using the Bible (one of the reasons that there is so much deception today is because people are not proving what they hear from pastors, churches, “Christian” books, or other sources against the Word of God). This is further proof that the end is near!
Here is a gospel tract video that explains salvation in a simple format, using only the Bible.
This video series is a work in progress. I will be adding videos as the Lord allows. There are many articles on this site devoted to the subject of genuine, biblical salvation and other articles dealing with whether or not one has truly been saved. Please see Saved or Deceived, which?, Salvation Believe Vs. Receive, and Lost or Saved.
