You feel yourself to be saved, but on what do you base your belief?  Is it based upon what the Bible teaches about salvation, or is it based on what your church told you or what your heart tells you?  The Bible says that our hearts are deceitful (Jeremiah 17:9). We should not trust in our hearts.  The Bible also says that there are false christs, false gospels, and  false spirits (I Corinthians 11:4).  How can you be sure that you have heard the true Gospel, received the true Christ, and the true Holy Spirit? Please take a moment to be certain that your faith is the TRUE FAITH based on Scripture and not a FALSE FAITH based on feelings.  Below is a short video series that examines some of the common false beliefs about salvation.  Please watch it and consider what it teaches and compare your belief against that which the Bible teaches.

**I made these videos believing that NO ONE who prays or asks Jesus into their heart gets saved. That is wrong. As long as you came in repentance and your faith for salvation is in Jesus’ shed blood you are saved, even if you did pray a prayer.  Basically, if you trusted in your prayer to save you, I don’t believe you are saved, but if your faith for salvation was in Jesus blood sacrifice for you on the cross of Calvary, then I believe salvation took place, regardless of what you may have said in your prayer.

The True Gospel Part I:
The True Gospel Part II:
Are you truly saved? Part I:
Are you truly saved? Part II:
Are you truly saved? Part III:

If you did not come to God through repentance and faith in Jesus sacrifice on the cross, then you are not saved.  God does not save sinners or add them to His Church through baptism (either infant baptism or as an adult). God does not save sinners because they hold out faithful to Him (holding out faithful is a work and salvation is by faith, not works).

There is Only One Plan of Salvation:

True believers should live a life of faith and good works, but it is not a means of salvation.  God does not save sinners through works (good deeds–giving to the poor, going to church, praying, community service etc).  God does not save sinners by entering their hearts (this means that salvation is not a result of asking Jesus into your heart).  Some may ask God to save them or ask Jesus into their hearts, but that should NOT have been what they trusted in to save them. IT is Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross of Calvary that has the power to save us. Nothing less and nothing more. God does not save sinners by their submission or complete surrender to Him (this means that you cannot get saved by simply giving your life to God).  God does not save sinners through near-death experiences or through supernatural experiences or visions.  God has one plan of salvation because God has only made one provision for man’s sin and rebellion against Him.  It is Jesus’ sacrificial death on the cross alone that provides eternal redemption for the sinful soul.  Jesus rose again the third day, which proves that His sacrifice for our sins before the Father was accepted and that He is God in the flesh.  I provides us absolute assurance that our sin debt was fully resolved at Calvary!

The True Gospel Video Presentation:
“But I’m Already Saved” Are You Sure?:

Here is a gospel tract video that explains salvation in a simple format, using only the Bible.

**I got saved 5 years ago, but I have not been a member of a church since then. I believe that this has caused me a lot of problems. Well, I know that it has. It is not good for the Christian to be alone without a church body. I was trying to protect myself from error, but in doing so, I ended up in error. I have repented of this and am very sorry for any confusion I may have caused anyone by my actions. I don’t know if I will end up keeping this site going or not at this point. But, for now, I am just trying to correct things that I have discovered are wrong.  Specifically, I would like to apologize to Fargo Baptist Church for stating that they practice “Churchianity” rather than Christianity and for any other derogatory statements I may have made. I believe that they are serving the Lord Jesus Christ with their ministry to the best of their ability, and I aim to pray for them and support them as best I can. I have asked their forgiveness and would much appreciate their prayers.**
